John Khoury is a banking and finance professional with more than 25 years of operating experience. As a consultant on numerous international projects, Mr. Khoury meets regularly with banking regulators, financial institutions and private investors. Prior to his consulting career, he developed and managed financial institutions in the United States, the Caribbean and Latin America, Europe and Africa for about 20 years.

Mr. Khoury has been engaged in management, financial and strategic consulting and investment evaluations for multilateral agencies, private investors, large accounting firms, companies and financial institutions with projects in Asia, United States, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, the NIS countries and Eastern Europe. He was previously involved in a number of projects focusing on Chinese financial institution reform in preparation for China's banking modernization and WTO entry, and has led consulting teams in projects funded by the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, and IFC. Mr. Khoury was a project director, senior consultant and team leader on reengineering projects with the Bank of Communications in Shanghai, the Agricultural Bank of China, Shanghai Investment and Trust Company in Shanghai, the Central Bank of Nigeria on behalf of the Asian Development Bank and the World Bank in China. In the last two years, he has been actively involved in the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) sector in various countries and is currently involved in establishing a credit guaranty fund in support of SMEs on behalf of three multilateral European organizations.

While in banking, Mr. Khoury chaired or sat on local and regional credit, steering and investment committees, in addition to his directorship of finance companies, factoring companies, and other businesses. He has managed banks, restructured several financial institutions through expense reduction, centralized operation and branch rationalization, increased operating efficiency, focused global strategies, and advised multinational companies on entry into global markets. During his career with Boston Global Partners, Mr. Khoury has been engaged in consulting to financial institutions, multilateral agencies, accounting firms, private investors, and companies on a worldwide basis with emphasis on developing countries. Assignments have included independent operational reviews and audits of banks and companies to determine strategy, operating efficiency, credit and lending, troubled debt workout and resolution, internal control, compliance, and recommended courses of actions.
